After completing a FCC 3rd Class license with broadcast endorsement Dan sought a career in radio but after an evening church service, Dan heard God's prompting to "Love God's people!" Which began a new journey of over 27 years of unusual ministry through the use of contemporary arts and music after graduating with a theology degree from L.I.F.E. Bible College. Upon graduating Dan toured with Jeremiah People and later worked for the Christian Artist's Corporation as a talent agent but soon found himself back in the local church incorporating the knowledge of the entertainment world with new forms of communicating the Good News of Christ. While most of Dan's ministry was centered in the performing arts, he had the privilege to work with folks like James Ingram, David Foster, Barry Manilow, Josh Groban and John Tesh while producing award-winning musicals as the Worship Arts Pastor at Southwest Community Church in Indian Wells, California. While there Dan became part of the teaching staff and played a significant role in their executive leadership team and it was in 2006 when he was put in contact with Twin Oaks Church to consider being their new Lead Pastor. Dan brings a lot of experience in developing ministries with a heartfelt passion to develop leaders, teach truth and help change the image of the Christian by helping the Christian transform into the image of Christ. Favorite Activity: Swim, Bike, Run... Dan is an eight-time Ironman triathlete. He has competed all over the world including the World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Mario Minardi Worship Pastor Phone:408.227.9500 ext. 212 Email: mariom@twinoakschurch.com Mario comes from a background of Music. As a professional drummer, he was part of a band called General Public. After his time of being a "rock star", Mario settled in to a career of teaching. For a number of years, Mario taught high school kids in Orange County. Fortunately for us, Mario was persuaded by a good friend of his (Jon Talbert - South Hills Church College Pastor) to move up here and take a job as the South Hills Singles Worship Leader. Four years later, Mario received a call to reach out to the Evergreen area of San Jose. As our Worship Pastor, Mario has a multitude of duties. Beyond the obvious job of putting together the music and shepherding the Worship Band, Mario is involved in every aspect of a Sunday Morning Service. Mario oversees the Multi-Media Team, the Sound Team, the Site Team, the Performing Arts Ministry, the Programming Team, and the Creative Team. Mario has a passion for reaching people where they're at and works hard to provide an environment where today's Silicon Valley resident can enjoy service as well as connect with God. Mario lives in San Jose with his wife Cheryl and their three children, Madeline, Emily, and Gian. |

Ernie Morales
Ernie comes to They both have a passion to see youth have a life changing encounter with God and then take that and allow God to use them to change the lives around them. They both know that God has created each and every teen with plans and purposes in mind. Their goal is to help them discover what that is and to start to live lives that are bigger than themselves. When youth start to see themselves how God sees them, then there is no stopping them. Ernie loves to teach the bible and show how relevant it is in their lives. He also loves to mentor and disciple. Cory has a passion for worship and mentoring. She has worked with teens who have a heart for worship and has helped them grow as worshippers and develop their skills. |
